The other problem I am having is that my best mate in the home is brought down to the garden two or three times a day for a day, and we have been advised not to get too close to each other because of the virus. He sits so far away(a good ten foot)so conversation.is almost impossible. Then he is taken back to.his unit and I plunge back into bored, depression and smoking. If our friendship doesn't survive the lockdown I don't know how I will cope.

Last night I cried myself to sleep I felt so low. I had a few cans as well but l was awake most of the night.

I'm sure your friendship will survive, I'm sure he's just as frustrated.

Being stuck with folks with intellectual problems, however..... that could be Hell for someone who needs that interaction with other people. I could see myself going either way with that- either not caring, OR going bat-crazy.

At least you're getting online, it seems. That opens up the opportunity for at least some social interaction,

I was surprised to be able to get back on the forums with my original login details. It had been so long since my last post that I thought l.would have been removed.

When we migrate to the updated site, I wouldn't be surprised if the registration lists were cleaned up, but otherwise, no, as long as you remember your details, you can get in...

Try to distract yourself and I know you already know, the longer you can go without it, the easier it gets- at least that is how it works for me. I used to SH a lot (minor but frequently) and once I'd broke myself just a little, it'd get a lot easier to not go right back to it.
