Ah, I'm sorry to hear that, and also that I didn't catch these posts earlier so that I could gently chide you to stay strong!

At least it WAS superficial. It's always nice to at least know, that while self harm itself isn't very sensible, that within the realm of it, someone is being... as sensible as they're able. That's always a Good Thing. We most definitely encourage NOT to SH, but if you do, try and be easy on yourself. Sometimes that's just the best a person can manage.

Thank you Snaga.

Ive just put it behind me now and i didnt really beat myself up over it this time.
I can usually distract myself and get through it but that was just a hard day.
Im going to write out my list of distactions and put it somewhere i can see it so next time i get urges i can see what else i can do.

absolutely no point in beating yourself up over it. One of my self harm reasons is self-punishment, so.... yeah I can't let myself get too remorseful over self harm that would not be good. You said it was light, I believe you, I'm not worried for you. Sounds as if you have a good idea with that list. hugs!

Having a bit of a rough night tbh, Its my friends funeral tomorrow and im struggling with it :( She was so young, I still cant believe shes gone. My other friends are really struggling too and i wish i could take their pain, but theres nothing i can do except be there for them.

Hopefully just writing my feelings out here will help.

Having minor urges nothing really bad and we know we mustn't so it's okay but we miss the release right now.
