I used to struggle with self-harm, but since joining the gym, I haven't felt the urge to hurt myself. The gym has become my safe space, providing a healthy outlet for my emotions and a boost to my self-esteem. The physical activity, supportive community, and focus on self-improvement have made a huge difference in my mental health. If you're going through something similar, I encourage you to find a positive activity that can help you heal.
Stay strong!

In my opinion, I feel emotional pain is the worst type of pain to suffer from. Most physical scars heal in quicker than emotional. Emotional pain is far more damaging, and can last for years until someone decides to heal themselves. While going to the guy and doing positive activity helps you, it doesn't cure you. The only way to truly process your pain is from within and self-healing. At the end of the day after the gym, that pain will still be there until you learn different therapies from within to heal from it and begin to move on. You can't always fill voids with other things, as it's just a temporary cover-up to a long term problem. Learn some healing therapies, such as CBT, ACT, and similar. Best wishes.
