Temple of Set

Postby Alia » Sun Oct 03, 2010 8:51 pm

i'm wondering if there is any children of practicing priests(my father is a Magus/Maga) who have left their parent's homes and the temple. i'm afraid to leave this up for too long. there isn't much info out there on setian life and organization for a reason. i'm afraid i have said far too much already but am so isolated and need to reach out in some way.
If you do not ask yourself what it is you know, you will go on listening to others and change will not come because you will not hear your own truth.

I can't find anything online on it, either. I will keep looking and let you know. Do not give up! I will always be praying for you, my dear.
Hold these thoughts of you close and never forget
In the darkness nothing is clear
Far away, yet in my heart you're near
Let each scar vanish...and believe...forever

All I know of it is it's recognized by the Army Chaplain's Manual (along with Church of Satan, Wicca, and others.)

Quick skim of the wiki entry:

As with Scientology, Mormonism, etc. since they're all based on non-scientific claims, it's really just a matter of whose lies you prefer. Whether it's a "cult" or a "religion" ultimately doesn't matter since nothing's proveable.
