You would know if it was a real illness or not. The fact that you're questioning it like this is really bizarre. I don't believe that an illness for 6 or 7 years could be localized as to cause weakness "in one leg". If it was truly weakness, you'd still be able to drag it along if you had the motivation and the sense that you are in control of your own mind. So I would stop searching, say screw everything and everybody, and walk like you've always been walking. Screw It!
