sadly no.. i keep hoping though..

children that were adopted often have a lot of difficulties with self esteem and a secure sense of identity (ie; ''I belong here'', ''I am'') etc..
were you adopted at all?

No, I wasn't adopted.
Yeah, they have a sense of identity.

Yes! Sadly, we are adopted.

Being adopted didn't end the abuse, it just changed the type of abuse...

Adopted at birth into an abusive family. I was adopted because my birth parents were 15.
