I really relate to what you said about the emotional stuff hitting harder than anything physical. For me, it took a long time to even realize what I went through was abuse—because no one hit me, but it was all control and guilt and fear.

I’m still unpacking how much that shaped my sense of boundaries. It’s wild how deep that runs.
