I think part of the problem with this article is that describes bullying as teasing. It IS NOT teasing, it is bullying, which is far more hurtful, and intended to be so. Teasing is not hurtful, often between a boy and a girl it is flirting, but being bullied certainly is not flirting.
My mother suggested that both my brother (at home) and the boys (at school) were teasing me. if I had realised that I was being bullied, AND, 30 years ago there had been laws against bullying, i would have been pushing me parents to get those boys into court, or, I, at least, would have been to the police about it, and hoped that the law would grind its' way into sanctioning them
