Hi, I'm new

Should have done this a long time ago. I am 40 and have been binging and purging for 10 years. I am 5'3" and weighed 180lbs, at first, I was excercising too and lost 60 lbs. I felt great! Things happened and I stopped excercising, also, started working and would not purge there, as it was a one person restroom and worked with family, so, gained all my weight back again. I don't excersise and I still purge dinner. I am now 193 and feel horrible!
I now have Congestive Heart Failure from high pressure from the weight and I feel horrible every day. I want to stop the purging, as I think it had a lot to do with what is going on with me now. The fatigue is horrible and I can't get going on my excercising because of it. I just want to stop it completely. I can a lot of times, but, then, I will eat some things that cause me to feel too full and it makes me uncomfortable. I am here to stay and want to be healthy again. I hope that being here, will help me past it.

Hi insecure,

I'm just 25 but have already been dealing with Bulimia for around 4 years. What time during your day do you have most energy? Perhaps exercising then would be a good idea. What I find also helps is to aim to eat a breakfast, lunch, and dinner, no matter what happens elsewhere during the day. This will ensure that our metabolism remains high and means that we may be less inclined to binge on huge amounts of food.
