I'm furious!!! They can't make me go to the doctor!

I am twenty three years old and have taken care of myself for quite some time. In fact, I don't even seen my family much even though they live near by. They are always too busy to make much time for me. Which makes me even angrier that they are trying to interfere now! They all got together and talked about me being bulimic and needing helping. It pisses off to begin with that they are all talking about me behind my back, and also angers me that they label me bulilmic. I have participated in binging and purging behaviors, but they don't know enough to classify me as anything. I am embarassed, ashamed, and beyond mad! My Mom actually went to so far as to schedule me a doctor's appt. without asking me. I am so pissed. They cannot make me go to the doctor can they? I am furious....

I can relate to you. I got away with purging for so long and everyone thought i was losing weight cause of my depression meds. But my parents got suspicious and then made me go inpatient at my local hospital. Since then i have 5 hospitalizations basically all for either bulimia or self injury,suicide. Now I see a regular ED doc every other week. I feel so embarresed sitting in the waiting room with just girls. Occasionaly there is another male but not that much. PM if you wanna talk more
