Hi,

I believe that this thread lacks posts because this is a very specific topic and nobody would particularly have any reason for posting here. Think about it: People who present symptoms such as yourself are more likely to go to the more general threads such as the Living With Mental Illness and Schizophrenia forums. I can't relate to what you're saying, but I understand to some extent. I believe that you are perhaps trying to define yourself too concisely, which would explain why you have come to the conclusion that your bipolar and psychotic episodes are separate entities when, in fact, they are probably very much related to each other.

The study of mental illnesses is an inexact science and, therefore, each patient's case is unique. If it was an exact science like physical illnesses is, then everybody would be given a different diagnosis and no two would be the same. So, you have a set of problems currently and they are each related to each other. If bipolar is the main thing, then deal with that and perhaps the other problems will lessen or vanish.
