After reading that my first thought was "That would be awesome if BPD was also a bowel disorder and I could crap out my depression, loneliness". Now that is without a doubt one of the saddest thought to go through my head haha

Anasui has had many wise words here, and I'd like to paraphrase something said in a different thread: someone with BPD will either *take* EVERYTHING or NOTHING; or GIVE nothing or everything.
Edit: I actually went back to find the exact quote because it really struck a chord with me at the time:
Anasui wrote:Just because somebody has BPD doesn't mean that they are incapable of human kindness. Everybody has the ability to show kindness. It's just their choice to do so or not. With BPD, I have seen the two extremes of the cases of showing kindness. Either we give EVERYTHING or we give NOTHING. We either take EVERYTHING or we take NOTHING. But when somebody with BPD realizes that this is unhealthy, that is when you start to see the battle they face. Trying to find HOW much they can give, HOW much they can take. Trying to find a balance.
BPD is nothing more than having an extremely blurred vision of where lines you can and cannot cross.

For me it's about constant pain and fear that never lets up. I know there are many, many awful mental conditions out there, but I often think we have it worst of all because we never get a break from it, not even for a day.
