Found out yesterday a friend has terminal cancer, same age as me. How can I
Justify the fact I have taken two overdoses to die
And probably will again when my poor friend would do anything to live??
It's made me feel so much worse. X

Sorry to hear about your friend.
What is happening for your friend and what is happening for you are two different things. One has nothing to do with the other. Beating yourself up will not help you or your friend; it's wasted time and energy. Remember that this is exactly what we BPD's can do sometimes. Beating ourselves up and feeling guilty over things like this. Stop doing it to yourself, you don't deserve it. Instead, utilize the love you have for your friend (which is an emotion in there with the guilt); focus on that one.
Condolences and hugs.

Oh man, Crow. I'm sincerely sorry to hear this.
Cancer is horrible. I can't name anything nice about it. No one can.
I do not have any words that will fix this, but I would like to let you know that we're here for you.
