A reminder

I just felt like saying, I have never spoken to such an abundance of genuinely nice people since joining this forum, life can be hard for us, and we can judge ourselves so harshly with others judgment combined with our harsh judgment of ourselves, sometimes driven from self hate , because we cannot abide how sensitive we are and how different that can make us feel from other people. How weak it can make us feel and how stupid, when our sensitivity puts us into vulnerable or dangerous situations. It is something that we struggle with everyday but, I believe us borderline people have alot to love about ourselves, not to adore or idolize, but to love and nourish.
We care and we feel so much and that is a God given gift, someone told me a story today about Marilyn Monroe ( who I believe had bpd) and he said she was at a party and the host's baby was crying, she took the baby into her arms and once the baby opened their eyes and looked at her, the baby went silent. She spent the whole night , taking care of that baby.
What a perfect example of the beautiful gifts that people with Borderline Personality hold. Damaged children with a heart of gold I think.
