Well I was doing really well and learning my DBT tools
and I woke up to my mom having an anxiety attack cuz my dad had taken 17 of his muscle relaxers and he was trying to get her out of the house with pnuemonia
and he got bad so I called the ambulance. They couldnt do anything because he was alert
and now Im getting the brunt of it and Im trying to help my mom and hes as incoherent as he is is butting in..Hes outta of, my moms screaming in pain.
and Im just trying to keep sane

Does your mom have any medication for her anxiety?
Are you able to take her to a quiet room in the house? If so have her take deep breaths in thru nose, exhale thru mouth. the commotion isn't helping her calm down.
When you're able to get her calm are you able to go out, drive around, go for walk (I know it's cold), do anything where you can focus?
I"ll pm you my phone feel free to txt or call...

You need to get her calmed down.. If you can't do it yourself, go down and get the person you know and see if they can help you...
would you describe the anxiety attack as severe?
I assume she has no medication?
keep me posted... I'll keep checking

You need to do something to distract yourself, as well as, get yourself calm... try some visualization techniques, try changing body temperture.. cold would probably be good.. can you go out and take a little walk, now that she's calm ? or lukewarm bath/shower...
