Love fall, winter not so much. I can hardly function when it is cold outside. I cannot stand to be cold!

I tend to think winter makes things worse...but then had a crappy summer too so...im gonna say..both!!

(I think) i get on quite well with autumn/winter. i used to find something a bit "bittersweet"? about nice sunny weather, like i liked it but it also made me sad. also every time there is really good weather, i've been stuck in bed with really bad depression or something, tho i don't know if that's more of a coincidence.

i remember feeling clearer about things in winter and more "there", less dissociative. i think winter has more clarity... i remember more winter than summer as a child. not really sure if there is any pattern there or not.... had some summers that seemed ok too, and some winters that weren't too great.

i used to assume i was better with summer... because people are supposed to prefer summer ? because its less cold for staying out late ? not sure, but think i've just had crappy all year round, lol.

count me in for the #######5 month and year... its been a really hard year for me. i hope things get better soon... hope this winter is better for you!

It's funny you say that about summers. There was a time when I felt more unhappy in them as well. Where winter was more comforting.

I guess this year will be where it was the opposite. Than maybe next it will flip back!

I'm biased. I love fall, and I do love winter, but only when it's sunny. I hate grey weather, it makes me want to kill. It can be springtime, but when it's grey and you get that piddly sort of rain, then arrgghhh

Find things that are good about winter/fall. Me, I'm shallow so I love things like fall/winter fashion. I love hats and scarves and shallow crap like that. I also love Xmas and halloween, and bonfire night, so I'm super happy when I get to do things that make me feel good, like making cute stuff to give people for xmas. Y'know crap like that.

Moomin, I think it's great that you love "shallow crap", I hadn't realized that about you. But now I can try to picture you in a cute hat and scarf.

I LOVE fall. I love cider and pumpkins and leaves and jackets and crispness and school supplies and even the word October. I love wearing knee-high boots in fall. And then snow boots in winter. Love December and the first and even second or third snowfall and Christmas songs and shopping and careening through the holidays devouring Christmass cookies and tossing back cocktails. Then New Year's hits and I fall into a deep seasonal depression that doesn't lift until May. And by lift I mean I go back to my baseline depression.

I love the fashion better than summer too though. I get to wear my leather jacket I also too like the scarfs, and feel covered and bundled up!

It just sucks when you go out at night and there is snow everywhere. I like to run around at night!
