since my breakdown i have felt like the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere are out of sync, i have had some trange goings on, such as time diferences, confusion ect. i think it might be down to the posibility that the left side of the brain is the emotional side, and when i expirience an event that triggers somthing from the past it de-syncs the left and right side more than ushal.
for people without bpd both sides are in sync and they go about there day, but when emotions kick in with bpd we or at least i get out of sync.
the therory behind this is that
the right side deals with logic, while the left side deals with future / past and emotions and posible senarios/analitical type of thinking. so once the brain gets out of sync by an emotioaly triggered event from somthing that hasnt been delt with from the past while in sync at the time of that past event the brain gets out of sync and you relive the memory/emotion in the preasant without the logic of the hear and now. hence the analitical side taking over (the what next / danger feeling and the emotion overload/ roleplaying senarios)
it would explain why generaly we are quite intelegent people, because we rely on the right side too much while not in sync with the left side and also our emotons.
there are therorys that eye desensitization works because of this way and thats why it helps ptsd, because it desensitises you to an old event while your brain is in sync, which alows you to deal with the situation logicly and emotionaly at the same time.
just a therory based on hapenings in my life and the way my thoughts get all jumbled and chat in my head when under stress.
but i thought i would share it, for what it is, my personal therory.
there are ways to help you balance the left and right side of the brain, focus on your nose at the tip with your eyes 90% closed, do this for some time and gain focus.
notice how the odd thoughts stop, how you becaome more balanced in that moment.
mabe have a google on the idea if you fancy some time with it.
its a journey isnt it?

(critisism welome, its just a therory)
