Hey guys, long time reader first time poster.
I've been diagnosed with BPD for about 2 years now and recently came to the realization that my mother has NPD.
QUESTIONS:
Is it 'normal' that her personality disorder has in turn, affected me by causing a PD in me?
Or Am i just a result of her emotional abuse and in turn not really a sufferer of BPD?
I'm so confused about this entire revelation and don't know where else to turn for advice on this topic.
Does anybody on the forums have the same type or similar situation?
I would love to hear from you all.
Please be nice
Thank you,
Pez

Hi, shatteredpez! Well, her emotional abuse could have made you develop a disorder. We're not professionals here, by the way.
forum-rules.phpI am sorry I am not on the forum as much as I used to be, if I do not reply to you quickly, please contact another moderator/supermod/admin as well.
