Im a new member but have been 'guesting' for some weeks. Have always been a problem and have lived a long time (most of you seem so young!). Was diagnosed 40 years ago as a severe personality disorder! and had treatment for 5 years - since then have coped/managed/struggled/married/divorced/moved from city to country town with work and all things in between! Always been employed - called a high achiever??!! Now - not in good shape - now seeing a psychologist who is probably going to be a great help as I want some peace for some years before ?! . Don't have a lot to more to say at the mo am taking my friends - my dogs for a long walk - have never blogged before and never opened up about me - the real one screaming inside!

This forum is I think a life saver - thank you. Morgs :?

Hi, Morgs. I know a Morgs IRL - short for Morgan.

Please write. Writing is a gift and a path to liberation. Hope to see some of your writings here.

Hi Morgs. I'm 37. Still a bit younger than you, but older than a lot here.... but only diagnosed in January... so I'm a lot younger than some of the 'younger' people too.

Writing does help hugely in my experience. The beauty of this forum is that you can write stuff exactly as you experience it, without worrying about it coming across as 'mad'. It's very therapeutic!

Thank you so much velouria and Optimistic for responding - was a bit concerned that people wouldn' be interested in an old duck especially one who has come a cropper!!! Morgs as in surname velouria - in Australia.

thanks for your kind words and advice on writing - particularly hard as I've never told anyone about the problem or the constant struggle. i will try to take your advice and write here in the safety of the forum. have become intensely isolated and the loneliness was killing me which is why I sought help again - it's a bit scary (lots really) when the highlight of the week is seeing a therapist!!!

best get back to work. take care and be gentle with yourselves.
Morgs :)
