I have had a warning for asking someone what a 'recovered' BPD meant...I am a total loss as to why this was offensive and the moderator will only say that I have been warned. I want to know as I truly do not want to offend anybody.
By the way I am a women with BPD with lots of insight after therapy and help.

I think because of all the inane and "fish-in-a-bowl" morbidly fascinated (ahem) nons here, perhaps the moderators thought you were trying to mess with the borderlines. When somebody without borderline asks me all sorts of questions, I get upset...I feel they are just trying to make us feel almost less than human. It's very hurtful... But I think it will be better now with the focus being on us. Anyhoo......
IMO a recovered borderline is one who no longer meets the criteria for borderline. I read a really good book about a woman who feels she is cured. I don't know if I think she is cured, but she is certainly doing amazingly well. If you are interested in, say, getting it out of the library, here's the title and author:
