i like you am new to this and not sure if bpd is what i have. My ex believe it or not gave me some sites to go on to read up on what this therapist told him it sounded like i had. i am going to a doctor tonight to get reffered to a specialist that can hopefully give me answers. I have been reading alot of information and fit into nearly all the symptoms, scares the hell out of me but also makes me feel like someone opened a door. hang in there and seek help to get it right

Cheadberg: What sort of relationship do you have with your mother now? Is she understanding? Do you still Snap?

Kathy1966: Did your ex throw it in your face or was he concerned? Why would your ex give you this info? Is he in a medical field?

no i dont have a great relationship with my mother. does she understand i dont know that she cares enough to understand. My ex wasnt throwing it in my face he wanted to give me the info months ago but was scared that i would take it the wrong way it is only now that we are finally talking like adults again that he felt comfortable giving it to me. i am sure he was scared shi less that i would go off at him and not take it in but I read and I read and I read as much info as i could find and like i said earlier its like reading a book about myself now all i need to do is get a referral to see someone who can point me in the right direction. I am also going to start yoga which i hope will help me heal as well if not it will be good excercise. i dont know if any of this is helping you understand yourself any better but its helping me so thanks

Iget along with my mother now, but she does get on my nerves and I do snap a little over the dumbest things. Like one example was she wanted me to go get her tires looked at on her van (shes disabled) and instead of being like "sure thing mom" I was like WTF? Get someone else to do it. I felt really annoyed.
