Everyday tricks to lead a better life

What are the things that improve the experience of your everday life?

I have been reading about all kinds of morning routines people do and definitely want to try it. It's not that I don't do things in the morning :lol: , but they're random and sometimes not as healthy so I wouldn't describe it as a routine.

I also try to watch or read or listen to at least a couple of songs etc. every day, make myself take a walk, and do more planning in general.

I have found exercise, especially yoga and Pilates to be really good in grounding me. In some poses Pilates also seems to unlock some stored emotional pain so I can process it.
Getting out and cycling in nature, seeing all the birds and the water makes me grounded as well.
Reminding myself to be kind to myself when I feel negative emotions, don’t shut it down, but let the adult me take control and process it later.

I was struggling with (or was somewhat grateful for) a lot of emotional dissociation these days, grounding techniques sound like good advice.
