I am caged

I feel trapped. In this family, bound by our secrets that no one can ever know. By this body and my distorted perceptions of it. By time constantly running away never pausing for me to catch up.

I just want to be free from everything.

What support do you have?

Not much. My only real friend says she needs to take a break from me for a while. My sponsor relapsed last weekend. My family is not supportive. I have my psychologist but to a point and it doesn't feel like actual human support but rather paid for support which feels cheap.

You might find some support in this neighbourhood by the looks of it.

Can you move out or go away to some other place?

I don't know what kind of family stuff you have going on but since I've limited contact with mine to the essentials and stopped relying on them emotionally which was a disaster it's like a weight dropped off my shoulders. It sounds cheesy but maybe it can help to make a pros and cons list or something and interact with them less based on that, if that's what's dragging you down.
