I need friends on social media in order to feel validated

This probably sounds like a stupid problem. And I'd agree. I'm basically suicidal so I don't know why I obsess over something as stupid as instagram, but I do. I'm a teenager and it seems like everyone around me has thousands of followers and meanwhile I don't even have 100. I feel like it's a sign that no one really likes me you know? Is anyone else in the same boat?
