Hi and welcome
I have the same thing, i dont give my phone number out as it is so easy to tract as you say. i actually dont believe it paranoia ..because its true. but what i think for myself is that i just dont trust people anymore for a number of other reasons ..i dont have a facebook account either as the "check in feature" tracks all your movements where you login from (from what ive seen) i have even had to go through my friends setting with her to help her stay more private. if people dont know how to stay safe on the internet is can be worrying..i think thats truth not paranoia (IMO) I obsess to much about it but i feel that safety is the best policy for me and if that makes me paranoia then so be it.

But ...Im sure all will be fine.
Just take it as it is and just trust its a helpful stranger ;) until you have reasons to doubt ok

Safe guards for me is important and that works for me, but i do understand the paranoia thinking too.

I get paranoid almost everyday from other people. It's exhausting and very difficult to deal with it. Sometimes my fears are lessened as the days go by and are replaced by different ones to obsess about. I don't really trust people too well and tend to think the worst most of the time.
