Girl Interupted was hopeless I thought. Rider was supposed to be the Borderline and Jolie a psychopath. I bet the book was good. I'd forgotten about Falling Down. I think his wife played by Barbara Hershey was also a B. Try Kes and Life is Sweet. Both very British though.

I really enjoyed Girl, Interrupted. I have heard the book was better as well.

I think Angelina Jolie did amazing in the movie Gia. I don't know if Gia Carangi was borderline, but the movie definitely made me think so.. Love that movie.

Another good one is Prozac Nation. Wurtzel supposedly just suffers from depression, but I don't think that's her only problem..

I read somewhere that Angelina Jolie was diagnosed as borderline back in the 90s, don't know how accurate that is though.

Just realized I need to go through James McAvoy's filmography.

Just wanted to say that op was exceptional, outstanding, and right on the money. It made me happy to read and I feel validated in that I have made the same observation about Stan.
