Which do you prefer, being alone or being around people? (Just wondering what is the majority answer).
I prefer to be alone.

It varies a lot. For the past few weeks I've liked being with people more.
You are unique, just like everybody else.

I need people. Too much alone time makes me horribly depressed. I can't spend more than a day or two by myself.

Very much the same for me, although when I have a bad social experience i.e when I feel exposed or vulnerable I can take long periods of staying in my house.
Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
I know of only one duty, and that is to love.
Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal.
You cannot create experience. You must undergo it.
Preconceptions negate our reasoning. We will never understand.

I need both. I am naturally an introvert who also gets energy from people sometimes, strangely. So i need to balance this.
Usually if i am around a lot of people for a few days, i take a couple days off without seeing anyone except maybe a close friend. Works for me. I regroup by isolation, if i dont get the chance to do that, i become grumpy and anxious. I am an INTJ, so.

i was just telling some one the weekends are bad for me. A empty house with just my thoughts is getting to much to bare. 4 months of mostly just me is way to much of me.

used to be a super extroverted person, but for some reason things shifted a great deal a few years ago and i turned into an introvert.
i cherish my alone time now. less chaotic, less headache, MORE solitude and quiet!
this helps me to become more grounded and in my own energy!

Lately I almost always prefer to be alone.
-- Mon Sep 15, 2014 5:50 am --
Lately I almost always prefer to be alone. I relocated a little over a year ago and haven't made any friends. I don't like MAKING friends very much. I would like to have people to hang out with, but when I consider all the discomfort it requires I really would rather just be alone. It kind of bums me out a little to type it though.
