You don't know me here, which is probably a good thing. But...a young lady inspired this post. Maybe, it will inspire you.

Many years ago, a lady told a story about people being like candles, but lacking a flame. To light the candles, one must pass the flame to the next and the next...

Proposing that the forums, cross pollinate a little, and offer hugs to from one to the next. Increase the understanding.

AsPD as we tend to be such Azzholes. And....you get the idea. Why are we Azzholes? For some it's a brutal picture of horrors...and they spread their pain around, and create more victims. So...Awareness precludes that sort of thing. Logic dictates otherwise, and reason rules the roost. Empathy costs you nothing. Cognitive is Free and some of us are affective dunces. But, assuming that we are able to READ, we can put the obvious together or not?

So the challenge is to go against one's own proclivities and attempt to look through the eyes of the other.

I stink at this, so...I will lead the charge....

I don't think I'll be cross-pollinating because people get a little too aggressive for me on other boards and I am bitchy enough as it is on this forum.

Well, I think it's ok as long as no fertilization happens and we don't create baby serial killers.

And I'm not broken, just a little bent.

I have an ex who had ASPD traits, who, while it didn't go well, I can recognize as a human being and can see that did the best he could to find outlets for his aggression and lead a life that generally didn't hurt others, me excluded of course. I know I wouldn't want someone to judge me because of my disorder so I'm trying to open up a little bit and be a bit more accepting of other PD's.

I'll accept your hugs as long as they won't get me pregnant.
