Solving People Problems

Has anyone here heard of, or read, this book? Its full title is Solving People Problems for the Creation and Preservation of Family Wealth, and its author is Peter G. Sandwell MD. I have a copy of the book, which I have read maybe a couple times. The author claims that the cure for every psychiatric problem is Three-Generational Family Therapy, which involves the nuclear family as well as the grandparents and possibly other extended family members. The idea of this kind of therapy is to take turns, starting with the grandparents and working downward chronologically, talking about traumatic and stressful personal experiences. My family and I tried this therapy, but it did not cure me of my psychosis, which I am on medication for. I would say I have made progress since I was at my worst, but I attribute that to medication. I do believe those sessions were therapeutic for me, but they did not obviate my need for psychotropic medication. I have also heard about people growing out of their Schizophrenia, so how can anyone be sure which factor it was that determined their convalescence?
