Hello.
My BDD started after I succesfully defeated my OCD.
However I suspect that this could also be caused by some traumatic childhood experiences regarding bullying and inferiority issues.
My main problem regarding BDD is that it totally destroyed my speech. I can't speak properly, I misspell words, mistake words, slur, stutter.
Has anyone experienced this ? how can I get over it ? I don't have a proper explanation of it, maybe the mind focuses on my "defect" when I talk to people so that's why the speech is destroyed ?

Hi. I can relate! I believe we sometimes have fear when talking or facing people that they are going to judge us or comment negatively, etc. I also believe it happens when we are so fed up feeling this way and we are so tired and frustrated that it takes so much energy to even talk
