Quasi Crazy Sanity Salsa

Postby slither » Fri Oct 12, 2012 5:41 am

I'm seeing fireworks when I close my eyes. It's like an Aurora Borealis on the inside of my eyelids, rowing across them slowly, in a canoe.

WITHOUT A PADDLE.

And I feel GREAT.

It started yesterday morning.

I fell asleep feeling #######5, yet I awoke crazy-eyed and giddy.

How does this keep happening? Why? Somedays I sink so low, so fast, I seem to bounce off like a bullet hitting water. I broke the depression sound barrier and went mach 5 in the opposite direction. I'll be on the moon soon.

Can't sleep. I'm having explosive popcorn thoughts again.

Calming techniques?

Imagine that your brain is a massive length of string tied into knots then imagine a pair of dexterous hands gently handling it looking for opportune lengths to pull at thereby making available more lengths to pull at. The hands begin pulling and handling the brain until it begins to unravel into one single length of string.

Seriously, that helps me. I lay down sometimes and think of my brain as being like an enormous knotted piece of string that disembodied hands untie. It's a factoid you probably didn't know and might not even want but it's here, right in front of your eyes!

Also, doing things that overwhelm your senses can help too like listening to music while solving all the world's problems.

Hope that helps. Take care.

BTW - You shouldn't have used "quasi" in the title because it means "seeming" which would have created more alliteration ("Seemingly Crazy Sanity Salsa" v "Quasi Crazy Sanity Salsa"). Never deny yourself the opportunity for alliteration. Ever!

I forgot most English speakers say quasi differently than Americans. We say kwaz-eye, not kwaz-ee.

Besides, I said it like that because it sounded exactly how I wanted it to, not because they sound the same.

The pattern is

K I
K EE
S EE
S Uh

Oh, I see. Sounds nice > Alliteration... :(

I'm not agree to that! It took me years of aprenticeship to learn my Jedi mind tricks.

How long have you been using that avatar? I cringe at the sight of it. The aspect ratio is grossly distorted.

I've prepared a better image for you:
