2 Med ?

Hello! I just signed on to this group, so I'll introduce myself briefly, then ask my 2 questions. My name is Michael and I have been dx c ADHD, Bipolar III (based on a paper I did for my Intro to Psych Class), OCD, & GAD!!!!!!! I am currently on: Effexor, geodon, Topomax, Dexedrine, Ativan & Trazadone. It has taken me most of the past year plus to fully stabilize. For the first time in several yrs, I can focus, and pay attention; my mood is fairly stable; my anxiety is low; and my OCD sx are not too bothersome!!!!!!! (though they still persist, obviusly). My questions are as follows: I was thinking of the possibilty of taking Cymbalta instead of Effexor, because I understood it to have greater effect on 5HT & NE. Is this true? Or, should I just stay with Effexor? Also, is Abilify better than Geodon for Bipolar? I understand that c Abilify, it lowers or raises DA based on what is neede in the brain. So, basically, I am wondering if Cymbalta would work better than Effexor, and Abilify than Geodon. Any answers would be nice. For the moment, I am a bit hypomanic, as it is 0533, and I went to bed @0200. I have to get up for classes @100, so I may only manage 4hrs of sleep today.[/b]
