According to wikipedia Myers-Briggs is the most used personality test. All types are supposedly equal. If you don't know yours there is a super quick quiz here. http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html
I found this the other day, and it piqued my curiosity of what I always wondered, if there were some similarities in personality type between people who have bipolar. In my opinion my type (ENTP) totally makes sense. In fact some descriptions of the type even sound a little hypomanic ...
Using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) continuum scores, bipolar patients were significantly more Extroverted, iNtuitive and Perceiving, and less Introverted, Sensing, and Judging than were unipolar patients.
(Focus on the letters and ignore the actual words; they stand for a set of characteristics & don't describe what they are well.)
I got my information from this site http://www.chaada.org/Bipolar.html and its radical message makes me want to take everything with a grain of salt. However do site legitimate sources.
Okay everyone ... so what are your types? Do they make sense considering your diagnosis(es)?
