xanax withdrawal

Hello, I'm new the the forum. I've been diagnosed BPII and as yet have not found the right meds for mself. I am trying to get off xanax using a crossover Valium protocol. This is causing a lot of insomnia, irritability and depression. Should I try an anti-depressant and a mood stabilizer at this point?
