bipolar and depression after sex

My husband and I seem to have a real serious problem (besides the fact that he is mildly bipolar..... ) The problem is that anytime we have sex, he then goes into a depressed state the next day (or two!). Nothing really seems to help. Now we're down to once a week on the weekends, so that it doesn't interfere with his high stress job. Has anyone heard of anything like this? No one we've talked to seems to be familiar with this....Any help would be appreciated....

Yes, I've heard of this. My husband sometimes gets depressed after sex. I'm not sure what it is except that perhaps it has something to do with the high someone feels during sex & then there may be a serious "let-down" afterwards. I would suggest your husband talk to his psychiatrist or therapist about this.
