I bought a TOWN, 3 cars and 2 houses

Postby maniaGalore » Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:42 am

hey there....

The town is a bit of an exadgeration , I wrote it to get attention

Do people you know have "crazed behavior" ??

I thought I was on top of the world , could do anything, suceed at anything, make a profit on any idea that came up and there was a BUNCH of them , believe me !!

I have been through hell and back in the last 5 yrs. being Bi Polar.

I hope that my posting this breif info will be of some help to a family desperate for answers.
If you have the patience to sit down and read this message and others ..I'd bet you're not BiPolar .!!!

.If ya were..you'd be out making something happen ! OR talking like no tommorow and believing that YOU can convince anyone whos listening that your "idea" is a workable deal, a good idea, a money maker etc etc etc
One significant thing , that should be mentioned is the likelyhood to constantly be writing NOTES ..things run through your mind so fast ..ya can't keep up , so you write notes....in most cases in such a hurry ..that even the note was shorthand or so vague its not understandable for even YOU

For me .....having been a car dealer for 20 plus years...Cars were a tendency for me ,,I was SURE that I could buy them , "cheap" and make a profit
Although...I had contracts written on 2 and/or 3 houses and propertry at once. I had it in my mind that I had run onto such deals ..surely they were gonna make money and theres NO WAY to pass these deals up !!! ..I was just lucky ..real lucky to find them and I can turn them fast , even though the previous owners could'nt.

This condition can very easily cause a person to totally loose their senses ...become dilusional ... believe in absurd ..totally unrealistic things.

Again ..this is very short ..so it will get read ! I hope it helps just one family to find answers. I am willing to discuss BiPolar with anyone in need of answers .. good luck Billy ~ **Labetteboy@yahoo.com**

I often get myself in hot water with my manic episodes too. Thanks for posting about it.

i just found this site, and i'm amazed. you could be my husband. In 14 years we've owned about 200 cars and gotten our money back or a small profit on about every 6th one. But he could never pass any of them up! they were all such good deals! he always has 20 irons in the fire and will tie up all our money to the point that we can't pay our bills, but he never sees it. after much fighting separations, his infidelity and me filing for divorce, he is finally getting screened today. I have believed that he is bipolar for years, and have done a lot of research, but i am not a doctor. I know that he is a good man, and i really do pray that today we will find out that this is what is wrong, because this can be treated. he has fought getting help for years. I terrified that they will say that he is not, because then there will be no explanation for all the things he's done to not just me, but our kids. I love this man, and i just want him to get help

a couple of months ago, i spent a whole month's rent on drugs and handbags, and then for the life of me could not remember what i'd done with the money.

:? mania feels good, but it's a problem.

I used to waste hundreds of dollars on junk. it felt good to spend but after I realized what I had done I wanted to take it all back. Unfortunately, only the CDs paid off. The rest was a complete waste of money. Especially with the clothes. I wasted so much money on clothes and cough syrup.

I enjoy being manic though. At times it feels like great fun.
