I am having terrible mania today

right there with ya!! man, if i would have been on my motorcycle today???? i would have been splitting lanes at 80 mph. every brain dead driver in california seemed to get in my way today, and all i could do was yell at them cuz i was stuck in a four wheeler today, but the air condintioning was nice though. my add showed up at around 5, i put some chicken in the grill, and while that was cooking i started some veggies, got interested in something on tv, the wife comes home from work and ask's about the chicken that has now been on the grill for about 30 minutes, oops!!! a little dry and crispy but i ate it.thanks for listening, later.

freedom, after 4 or 5 weeks on depekote, have you had any hair loss, or weight gain at all??????

no i havent thank god, none of either, and my looks are really important to me, so i was concerned about it -----im dead vain!!!

after losing 80 pounds, the last thing i want to do is gain weight, but i have only been on the depakote for a week, so time will tell, if i start to gain, then i will discuss with the doc. .later.

12 days on depakote, i seem to be more angry then before, unwilling to put up with to much which isnt good, i am about ready to tell my company about my dx, but my manager hasnt been there lately. i did tell a couple of family members what was wrong with me but they dis agree, saying i am just copping out? uh whatever. thanks for listening ,more later.

15 days on depakote, racing mind seems to have almost stopped, sleeping better, extremely tired in the morning, takes me about an hour to get going.now i am hoping doc can get my add and ocd under control. i do believe i have noticed a little hair loss, receeding and thinning out in the front a little.

ok, i thought the racing thought s had stopped, but when went to the doc yesterday, he says its to early for that , and upped my depakote to 1500 mg's a day 500 in the morning, and 1000 at night, probably also due to my mania bieng in full swing at the moment. i am fighting a really strong urge to quit my job, tell my wife to take a hike, sell the house, pay down the car notes, and move. but thats as far as it has gone so far. i dont know where i would go, what i would do for income, i have not really thought this through, so maybe that is one reason the doc upped my meds. thanks for listnening , later.

ok, been on 1500 mg's depakote for aprox. 2 months, and these are the things i have noticed so far, the hair at the front of my head is really thinning out, and i have gained 7 lbs so far, but other then that it does work for me. if i gain another 5 lbs, i will tell doc i want to stop and try something else. i dont want to gain any weight because i just lost 80 lbs. later.
