Hello quietgirl,
Thank you for your nice words; and for your work here, its great to have a place like here, and people who take care of it.
I'll dig deeper in the older threads to get more information

May I ask how you feel these days ?
Wish you all the best.

You ask how I feel:
I don't want to get off topic of the thread about 'How's Your Mood Today?' so I'll reply describing my mood today and lately. :D

I feel good and stable (I think I feel stable) and strong. My days have me going up and down everyday for almost a month lately. I have had a depressive episode that I hope I'm getting over. Been feeling really miserable and mood was horrible, but the last say, 3 days I feel I'm slowly getting over it. *Crossing fingers* that I will be stable again. Thank you for asking.

(In case others don't answer with too much of a reply, it's because we try to stay on topic with this thread. We do have here on the Bipolar forum, a thread called the "Off Topic Thread" so members can post about other things than just the illness.

bipolar/topic185834.html

Again, welcome to Psych Forums! I hope you like it here just as much as I do. :D

Thanks. I like it yes, it is a bit quiet but that is good too, and the atmosphere is nice, with a lot of respect and willingness to help around.

My mood is good today. I had a day off so I could relax in the morning which was good. The afternoon my mood was a bit more tense/excited/difficult to come down since I made quite a lot and had a long work-related phone call which gave me a headache.

I'll try to mostly relax the rest of the evening, chill etc. A friend wants to call, hopefully not too late and too long otherwise Im going to be excited again before bed...

Yeah I know I have a hard time to stick to just the 'mood' because the mood often results of events in the day. I hope its OK. Otherwise Ill use the thread you linked.

All the best, I cross my fingers for you too quietgirl

@Bernhardt87, I'll do a short reply. I feel it's ok to have a little bit of "chatting" about our mood for the day, like the thread says. Let's say that I say, "I feel awful, so and so happened today!" Someone replies with a nice and thoughtful comment. I can see a short conversation going, which I see as fine. That is fine. Because we are being a community in this forum. But the thing too, is if you post about other stuff, it would be nice to get replies, that's when I recommend either the regular Bipolar forum setting, or the Off Topic Thread to continue or start that as a new topic.

***Yes, it is quiet right now. I have been here since 2013 and I've seen it both very active and very quiet. Just depends...My mood is good today. Feeling stable. Day 4 of feeling much better than the last few weeks.

Great. 4 days of peace is great !
Im also taking one day after the next..! thankful for each day where I feel reasonably good and where nothing 'dramatic' happens.

And my mood: good, and thankful for this forum.

2013 ! respect for the dedication, and the discipline it certainly takes to do something that is good for you (and for others) so long.

I wish you a nice 5th day quietgirl and cross my fingers; I dont know you much yet but I'm confident it will work out.

Best,
Bernie

Thanks Bernie, but just so you know, I've only been a mod since July, 2016. I was a member for the longest time.

Mood: Day 5 of feeling good and stable.

I don't understand why they aren't working, they work for me??? Strange.

Feeling good, not hypo, but stable. Having some coffee with some creamer that has a lot of chocolate flavor! :D

Today I went down some in mood. Not bad. Got triggered emotionally and sure enough, there goes the stable mood, downhill. I await the upbeat mood to show up.
