Think i may possibly be bi-polar.

Postby EmmaRamone » Sun Jun 12, 2011 5:11 pm

I don't want to annoy people on here by posting too frequently/repeating the same things..i joined a few days ago...i have a months to go until i have a diagnosis...already been confirmed to have OCD but have several other traits which i why i have been referred to a psych to find anything else which may explain it all...so i've been posting in the BPD forum but i can't really tell the difference between the symptoms of BPD and bi-polar and ive been looking recently into BPD so now i'm going to read some stuff in this bi-polar forum...maybe list all my symptoms first before looking at either..and then comparing my list to the symptoms of both. Obviously only the psych will be able to give a proper diagnosis, but it just makes me feel better if i know what it is. I kinda keep the OCD probs separate to all the other probs, even though i think the OCD has caused the other probs. Coz the OCD is my main prob which causes all the probs..and i know thats deffo OCD and its the thing that causes me the most anxiety and depression. So its like 1.OCD 2. everything else
i can rule out certain disorders like schizophrenia etc etc
i think the other probs come under anxiety & mood & personality
So, just kinda wanted to introduce myself to this forum.
also i found a link to mypsychtracker and i'm going to sign up to it and start using it as i think it will be helpful in recognising patterns of mood/behaviour and therefore ruling out certain disorders etc.
