45 year old male. Life has been falling apart for some time, between living to sleep and then 3-4 hours of sleep and running around like an idiot. The gym two times a day to burn whatever I have.
I went to the doctor and was advised I was bi-polar. Not an easy thing to take when your 45 years old, a law enforcement officer and everyone in your family were the crazy ones. I gues it was me all along. I can function at work and do it very well but my personal life has gone to hell. Started taking medication and now the feeling of being freaking crazy has come to me. So does it get better or do you just know you are crazy?

It supposedly can get better with medication, you just have to find the right combo, so it is always important to be totally honest with your psychiatrist about how you feel while taking medications, that way you can both determine if they are working. I don't know if I have found the right conbination of meds, yet. I m on two antidepressants and one antipsychotic.
What meds did they put you on?
