mo mo,
Thanks for the suggestion. I like to say that most people like meds, but that is not the only way. I was forced to believe that the only way for me to live was to be all drugged up. I probably did need the meds for a while. Maybe the meds kept me from really screwing up my life.
Thanks Again,
Jim S, James

All
I find that most bipolar books and popular authors (Jamieson for instance) focus heavily on BP 1 with little attention given to the other forms of BP.
As an ultra ultra rapid cycle BP I find the issues a BP1 deals with almost as foreign to me as being "normal".
I get almost all of my information from the Web.
Have I missed a book that does justice to the other forms?

On my website, I have a great deal of information that I have used to deal with my bipolar illness.
To best share my experience, I wrote a book about my experiences. You can obtain it from my website for free--no strings attached. I would guess that many people could use some of my experience.
Although I manage my bipolar witout meds at this time, most of us bipolars seem to need medication. People get very angry and defensive when I say that I'm bipolar--but do not take meds. You have every right to take medication. Can't I have the option of dealing with my illness without meds as long as I do no harm to myself, my family, or society? I have encountered a great deal of prejudice because I can't take drugs.
Even if you take medication, you may be able to get help from some of my ideas. I only want to help people.
