My temper lately has been off the charts. I am in a horrible mood. I could just strike a match to the whole thing and never look back. I could just kill people with my eyes. I don't know what is wrong with me. Could I be on the edge of some sort of episode? The has been going on for over a week now. Any insight?

I don't know if you're going through an episode yet, but it sounds like you are experiencing symptoms that could be a real episode. You either are entering one or you are experiencing one. Hypomania can have irritability with it. Mania too, but when you are manic, you seem oblivious to how you feel and at least for me, I have no idea I can be manic most times. It's only when I'm falling apart that I seek help and it is either confirmed to me I am manic or others just say I'm not myself. This doesn't sound like it helps much, to be honest. Have you talked to a good friend who can tell that you aren't your normal self. How about your pdoc?

I called my Pdoc and he had me take some Haldol which calmed me down a lot, helped me sleep, but didn't sedate me then when I go in to see him he tells me he doesn't want me taking Haldol for more than a few days because of some side-effect or something. He put me on Saphris which sedates me but makes me feel all jumpy inside at the same time
So I'm back on the Haldol for now and I have to call my doctor back again I guess because I can't start this throwing things and kicking things and freaking out again, it's too scary. Does anyone know anything about Haldol?

I don't know anything about haldol so I can't comment. But in regards to your anger moods,....
I am bipolar but was also diagnosed as schizzoaffective at one time too. I am angry most all the time. I am depressed right now and have been for awhile. I feel like I am never 'normal.' Or maybe my normal is just angry all the time. So anger isn't a symptom of an episode for me-it's constant. I'm on geodon, lamotrigene, wellbutrin if that helps.
I wish you the best.
