I believe I am undiagnosed and unmedicated BP. I had alcohol detox a few weeks ago and the Pysch there thought my life sounded as if I could have BP 2. Just curious if with BP rage that you say things that you don't really mean or that come out of nowhere? I find myself saying mean and hurtful things to my wife and then later regretting it. I get in such a rage that words just seem to come out without me even realizing what I am saying? Is this typical when in a BP rage set off by a trigger? Thanks.

Yes definitely. It is a mood disorder so it can be pretty nasty. Burning bridges with friends and family is pretty rough if they don't understand what's wrong. That's why it's probably good to get medicated.
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.
