Bipolar 2 is still a relatively new (corrected) diagnosis for me.
Can someone explain the difference between Bipolar Depression and Unipolar Depression?
And what is the difference between Hypomania and Anxiety?
TIA

(AFAIK) Bipolar depression and unipolar depression are similar. Only difference is the mania with bipolar.
Hypomania can have anxiety but it can have a lot of other symptoms like hypersexuality, impulsiveness, change in sleep/appetite, and mood, etc. So hypomania can be a good feeling while anxiety is pretty crummy.
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.

I don't really know anything about unipolar depression. But bipolar depression can be treated and it does go away with the help of meds and things that are recommended by your psychiatrist/therapist.
Hypomania is a symptom of Bipolar I or Bipolar II. As for anxiety, I get it a lot and must always have some diazepam (valium) on hand in case I need it. Because I suffer from anxiety badly. I'm sure there are other things that can be added to this to explain better. I do get hypomania more often than mania nowadays, even while medicated. I always bounce back. Then I crash into depression, which I also bounce back from. I have BP I. You get full blown mania with BP I. With BP II you only get hypomanic. And of course you can have Major Depression there too with both BP I or BP II.
