Thanks, quietgirl! I was too! It took about 4 1/2 weeks but they're gone now. Now I'm dealing with new side effects, though.

I've been having this weird visual side effect. It's not blurry, double vision, or vertigo. It's hard to explain. My vision is sharp but where my eyes are looking, I'm not actually focused on it. It feels like my eyes behind my eyeballs are all wonky and moving. I read somewhere that this could be something called "Still Vertigo" but I haven't found anything else on it. I'm not bumping into things and I seem okay driving, but it is very annoying. Reading is difficult. And when I make eye contact, I feel like I'm not really making eye contact.

Just asking in case you haven't already done so, but have you told your doctor about this? Whatever it is that they say, even that it's nothing, just be safe than sorry that you brought it up.

I've been taking lamictal for 12 years with one period of thinking I'm not bipolar and stopping randomly. The rash is very specific and happens only in a handful of people. Depakote made me gain 25 lbs in 2 months and lose my hair. Yes, fat bald girl with issues, sign me up! Kidding. Luckily lamictal was the 2nd choice. However, if you've read what I've written anywhere else on this forum, youll know repeatedly that I'm not stable.
Thank you for reading a part of the journey through my bipolar mind.

I got a rash from Lamictal when I tried it. As soon as I got the rash I told my psychiatrist and they yanked me off it immediately. They told me they won't even take a chance. There's so many drugs on the market why should they.
