Have so much $#%^ in your head, just random words buzzing around, it drives you nuts so you take a notebook and "journal" in your noggin language?

I have a bunch of pages from my journal that go like "the governments feet defeat the reat. Love kills, eat salmon between the lines of dinosaurs and symbolism. Craft planes, craft canes, coke rains," from today. Felt good.

I've never done it while hypomanic, but i typed stream of consciousness a couple weeks ago when i had writers block from writing poems, and it was pretty silly. I used the N word a lot, for some reason.

But regardless of how silly it may sound, there must be something sensical within.. right?

While not diagnosed with bipolar disorder, my therapist has recommended me to write down my racing thoughts, but often they go so fast that I have a hard time writing it all down. And often, while it isn't outright word salad, my writing tend to involve metaphors, absurd connections between ideas, tangents, all caps, multiple exclamation points, and punctuation that doesn't follow grammatical rules but works with the pace of my thoughts. Also, if I happen to be irritable, it will involve a lot of swearing.

Despite the difficulty with writing it down, it is a good way to cope with irritability.
