I drink a moderate amount every day but never drink more than about 4 drinks anymore. I start to feel sick after that. I like to drink frequently but have never been much of a binge drinker even in college. Enough to loosen me up socially but I hate puking or blacking out.
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.

I was sober for 7 months and recently started drinking again. I've been pretty moderate. I didn't have any serious suicidal thoughts during the time I was sober which is pretty significant. However, I still had depression and my life didn't change much as a result of being sober. I'm sure an AA person would say it's because I didn't "work the program" or something to that effect.

As for mixing meds and alcohol, I just don't know. Even my psychiatrist admitted that nothing has been proven in regards to the ill effects of mixing meds and alcohol. For me, as long as I don't go above 2 drinks a day, I am fine.
