Yes. That is what it means to be depressed over Christmas.
Mail sits unopened for months.
On with the rest of the things I need (want) to do tonight.
It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"

I do this with mail too. I have a huge pile of it still on opened from my last depression. Hope you're feeling better now x x

I tend to do the same. My husband reminds me to open the mail so I do it, but I tend to not have interest in anything when depressed.
