"Neurodivergent" (which is used instead of "neurodiverse" if you are referring to an individual or a group of people with the same brain type) is used to refer to someone whose brain is fundamentally wired differently than the kinds of brains society considers "normal". Bipolarity fits this, since it is mostly genetically caused, it is a disability, and it is often seen as something to be "fixed". Some people may argue it is not, since bipolar people typically have their first episode in their late teens or early adulthood, and they are not always experiencing an episode. However, there are often differences between bipolar people and neurotypicals even before they have a full-blown episode, and there are often differences in between episodes as well.

I sincerely beleive not. It's a mood disturb.

The mood is variable in all, according the situations and the personal conditions.
The variability in a bipolar person is too large and not in dependence with the conditions.

But the illness is not only dependent by a biological predisposition, but also by the culture, by the education, by the natural temperament. Because theese all makes the behavoirs.
For example, if a man is not aggressive, the illness is less seriuos and damage not too much the life.

There aren't two equal bipolars.

The real problem I see, is that someone in manic phase, beleieves to feel good, and he doesnt' stop.

FYI to other people NT means neurotypical (had to google it). I would say bipolar is a mood/brain disorder seeing as it responds to psychiatric meds that change brain chemicals. It is somewhat genetic from twin studies and somewhat environmental. They can tell on a scan if you have schizophrenia but I don't think bipolar. Bipolar people are often smart and creative and "different" than normal people. I think they have a higher and lower range of moods compared to the average person. A normal person might on average feel -5(very sad) to +5 (very happy) while a bipolar person might feel -10 (suicidal) to +10 (manic/psychotic).
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.
