Do you use some paper diary, or some app on the phone (if yes, which one?), or..?

When my mood swings start, I track them by paper and show them to the pdoc when I see him.

After seeing this post, I looked to see if there was anything for bipolar specific and found emoods bipolar mood tracker. It has good ratings and reviews.

It's free, and has a donate button for anyone wishing to support them.

It tracks level of:
how many hours of sleep
depression
elevated mood
irritability
anxiety
if any psychotic episodes happen
if talk therapy was had that day
A medication log
Extra notes
A calendar
A graph
